Former Pittsburg Man May Face Prison Time

A former Pittsburg Kansas man could face prison time. 49-year old Timothy J. Powell has been indicted on charges for failing to pay federal income tax. He`s been charged with three counts of willfully failing to file federal income tax returns for over $700,000 in the years 1995 through 1997. If convicted, Powell faces a maximum of one year in federal prison, without parole, on each count and a maximum fine of $100,000.
