Making Up The Hours

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Local deputies may soon be putting in extra hours, but not being paid for them. That`s because more than ten officers were paid twice for overtime received during the Route 66 Music Festival last year. Jasper County Commissioners say they will not take the money out of the officers` paychecks, but instead they will have to work the hours off. The officers will not be forced to work the hours immediately. Instead they will be used on an as needed basis. Reported By:Brad Douglas
