A US Representative unveils his proposal for a Northeast Oklahoma superfund site. Representative Brad Carson says drastic action is needed at the tar creek superfund site. He proposes a federally funded voluntary buyout for residents of the superfund site. Carson says the problems at tar creek cannot be fixed and residents should have the chance to relocate. The U.S. Representative plans to outline his agenda for the area at the tar creek conference in Miami. Officials say Carson will introduce his buyout legislation next week.
