FEMA Work Applications

The Federal Emergency Management Agency - or FEMA - will be accepting applications on Tuesday, May 20th, for debris monitors in Pierce City. Debris monitors observe and verify the disaster debris removal process. Applicants must have prior construction experience, be able to walk at least three-quarters of a mile, climb ladders and stairs, read and write English, and identify a cubic yard. To apply, visit the FEMA trailer behind Pierce City Hall at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20th. Bring a resume, a valid drivers license and social security card or passport. Only U.S. citizens with valid drivers licenses will be considered. You must be able to pass a drug test, police background check, and provide your own transportation. Selected candidates will begin work immediately. FEMA is an equal opportunity employer.
