Gas Leak Evacuation

A gas leak forces several four state residents out of their homes. The gas leak happened near 24th and Bird streets in Joplin just before 10 o`clock this morning. Police say a construction company struck a four inch gas pipe while repairing a sewer line. Residents had to be evacuated in a three block area for about 15 minutes. Randels says all residents are safe and were allowed to return to their homes. Reported By:Janae Menz
