Pittsburg Stabbing

An area man is arrested in connection to one of two weekend stabbings in Pittsburg, Kansas. Daniel Sopata has been charged with attempted second degree murder in connection to the stabbing of David Sopata of Pittsburg. Police say the victim was stabbed mulitiple times in the chest at a home at 212 west 24th street. The victim is currently in stable condition at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. The suspect is being held at the Crawford County Sheriff`s Office on 50-thousand dollars bond. Reported By:Robin Rogers
