A controversial superfund site sets party mates against one another.
One U.S. Senator says a federally funded buyout of the tar creek superfund site is off the table. Oklahoma senator Jim Inhofe says his decision to take a buyout off the table is not new. He says the plan just won`t work. Meantime, fellow Republican Senator Don Nickles say he will continue to discuss all options before moving forward. Oklahoma Representative Brad Carson says he applauds Nickles for his comments on the buyout option. Carson, who supports the federal buyout, says it would be tragic if the option is taken off the table.
