Carthage Accident

An accident ends with two Jasper County teens in serious condition. The accident happened Friday on Jack Pine Road, just one mile west of Carthage. Police reports say two cars were street racing, heading westbound. The reports say the first car collided with a second car, sending the first car off the road and striking a concrete culvert. The driver, 18 year old Kenneth Cole, and a 16-year-old passenger were both airlifted to Joplin hospitals. They both were listed in serious condition Saturday. Reported by: Ryan Loyd
