MCCO School

Education budget cuts could affect one area school district that`s already suffering from a money shortage. The McDonald county school district ranks at the bottom of the list for per pupil funding in the state of Missouri. The superintendent of McDonald County schools Randy Smith says that doesn`t mean the students are receiving a less than adequate education, just fewer opportunities. Smith says they`re going to have to assess what the students need and go from there. Smith says it looks as if the new education budget plans will make inequalities in district funding even larger. Meaning more trouble for the McDonald County school district. Reported By:Jennifer Grannan
