The budget stalemate between Governor Holden and the Missouri General assembly is over. The Democratic
leader today pledged to sign two education spending bills, despite his continued belief they don`t provide enough for schools. The governor says he`ll sign the budget package because the consequences of vetoing it would have been worse.
