As peace keeping efforts continue in the middle east, local reservists are still being called to active duty. After several months back home, some local reservists are being called back to action. A spokesman with the U.S. Army confirms that 70 members of the 414th military police unit will be deployed on Monday of next week. The local reservists will first be stationed in Fort Bragg ,North Carolina. Last year members of the 414th spent several months guarding prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The new assignment for the reservists will be a part of either operation noble eagle or enduring freedom.
