A four state politician is working to preserve the history of Joplin for future generations. Missouri Secretary of State Matt Blunt visited the Joplin Public Library today to present a federal library services and technology act grant. In Joplin, the grant will be used to digitize a collection of Joplin postcards. It`s a project the library is thrilled to start and one Blunt says definitely fits the technology criteria. Blunt also visited the Neosho-Newton county library. They will be using their grant money to install a computer training lab. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
