More Details on First State Bank Robbery

Police are searching for several suspects who robbed a local bank. The First State Bank which is located in Webb City`s Price Cutter store was robbed early this afternoon. Police are looking for two black males and a female accomplice who they believe robbed a local bank today. Webb City Police Chief say the two men had been in the price cutter store earlier in the day and raised suspicion. But came in again just before 3-o`clock. That`s when police say one of the men approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. "There was a mention of a weapon but no weapon was displayed but teller struggled to try to keep the note but then the suspect took the note with him,"said Webb City Chief, Don Richardson. Both suspects then left the store and one got into a silver Ford Focus with an accomplice and headed eastbound. The car had Kansas plates. Police believe they probably returned to pick up the second suspect. According to reports the suspects took an excess of 1-thousand dollars some of which was fake. The first suspect is being described as a black male with a tall, thin build. He was wearing a red hat and navy t-shirt. Police say he had a goatee and his hair was in dread locks. The second suspect is also a black male with a muscular build. He was wearing a white t-shirt, baggy blue warm up pants and his hair was in corn rows. The third suspect was the driver of the get away car. Police say a white female with blond hair was driving a silver Ford Focus. Police believe the car had Kansas plates and was headed eastbound. Chief Richardson says area law enforcement have been contacted and are looking for the suspects. If you have any information you are being asked to call you local police department.
