Suspected Beaters in Court

Suspects in a southeast Kansas spring beating are back in court. The four suspects were in court Tuesday for their status hearings. Two of the juveniles, from Cherryvale, Kansas are being held for further status until August 22nd. The laywer for 21 year old Aaron Crozzer of Independence, Kansas requested a competency hearing which was granted by the judge. Following that evaluation, Crozzer and the other juvenile will have their status hearing August 25th. The four are charged with aggravated assault after five teens were beat with baseball bats at ford pond near big hill reservoir.
