Bourbon County Murder

Murder charges are upgraded for a bourbon county, Kansas man accused of the death of a 72 year old Ft. Scott woman. 24-year old Uriah Beckman was orignially charged with first degree murder,but that charge has now been upgraded to capital murder. Beckman is also charged with rape and aggravated burglary in connection to the incident that happened in may. 72-year old Kathryn Goddard, who was found dead in her Fort Scott home. Beckman is being held in the Bourbon Couty jail on two-million dollars bond. His next court appearance is set for July 25th. Reported By: Jennifer Haile
