Ramada Inn Robbed

For the second time this month,an area motel robbed. And police say the two crimes may not be coincidental. The Ramada Inn on Rangeline in Joplin was robbed early this morning. Police say two white males entered the motel with bandanas coving their faces. One suspect was armed with a small caliber handgun. Authorities say the two suspects got away with an undetermined amount of cash. Police say they are looking into the possibility that the robbery could be connected to a robbery at the same motel on July 4th.
The suspects were last seen leaving south behind the Ramada Inn. One suspect is described as being around five feet, seven inches tall, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. If you have any information, call the Joplin Police department at 623-3131.
