Doubet In Court

A trial date is set for a Jasper County man charged with the death of his infant son. 33-year old Dennis Doubet of Carthage has pleaded not guilty to the second degree murder of his son last september. His trial has been set for January 5th. Doubet is accused of allowing 11-month old Zarrin Doubet to drink a chemical mixture allegedly left over from methamphetamine. He is also charged with possession of chemicals used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Doubet is currently free on bond. Pre-trial motions will be heard on September 29th.
