Londo In Court

The trial date for another area man charged with murder has also been set. The second degree murder trial for 48-year old Kenneth Londo has been set for November 12th. Londo is accused of stabbing 44-year old Kent Stepp of Joplin. Police say the stabbing happened after the two were involved in an altercation at Londo`s residence in he 11-hundred block of south Jackson street. Police say when they arrived at the scene, stepp was lying in the street. He later died at a Joplin hospital. Yesterday, the judge also took a request for a change of venue under advisement in order to view video tapes. Londo will be back in court for pre-trial motions on October 6th.
