Anti-Meth Ad

Updated: January 7, 2009
A local police department is trying to put a stop to meth by hitting the airwaves. The Miami`s Fraternal Order of Police has purchased an anti-meth advertisement. The 30 second spot re-enacts what officers have to go through when they bust a meth house. Officers say this is a growing problem and they hope this ad makes a difference."I want people to see this ad and realize their next door neighbor may be the one manufacturing met. And if they see something out of the ordinary. They see high traffic activity come into that house, smell strange chemicals to contact their local police department or local drug task force,"said Detective Danny Green, Miami Police Department. If you would like to donate to the Miami Fraternal Order of Police to aid in their efforts to stop meth. You may call 1-800-541-2311. Reported By: Brad Douglas
