Mercy Regional Grants

More than 80-thousand dollars has been approved to help fund local and rural health services, programs and equipment. The Mercy Regional Health Foundation at St. John`s Regional Medical center is awarding grant money to several local health providers. Just over 5-thousand dollars is being given to the Parsons, Kanss Fire Department to provide a hazard house. The Pierce City Rural Fire Association received 15-hundred dollars to purchase an automatic external difibrillator. St. John`s hospice was awarded 60-thousand and the St. John`s home health service will receive a 5-thousand dollar grant. And finally, just over 86-hundred dollars will be awarded to St. John`s breast center. Reported By:Jennifer Haile
