Galena Meeting Assault

A Police chief decides to file a report after one of his citizen allegedly assaults him. Galena Chief of Police Cameron Arthur says he`s spoken with the Cherokee County Sheriff`s Department and says he will insist his rights be protected just as any other citizen`s would. This comes after Galena resident Bill Frazier approached chief arthur while yelling at last night`s city council meeting. Cherokee County Sheriff, Bob Creech also attended the meeting and says what he saw would qualify as assault. Sheriff Creech says his office will not be a presence at the city council meetings unless the commissioners request it. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
