Joplin Incubators

Updated: January 7, 2009
Incubators are usually just for babies but they soon will be for businesses. The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce held a ground breaking for its new incubator program. A new building is being made available, and businesses will share overhead costs and get their businesses off the ground. "It`s about an 11,000 square foot building. We`ll remodel it. We anticipate at any point in time, depending on the space needs of the business we`ll be able to hold six to ten firms,"said Rob O`Brian, Joplin Chamber of Commerce. If you would like to become an incubator business, you can call the Joplin Chamber of Commerce at 624-4150. Reported By: Brad Douglas
