A four-state school district receives good news about test scores just as the new school year gets underway. Joplin High School reports a marked increase in ACT scores for its students. The composite score for the 2002-03 school year for JHS students was 22.2. That`s up from 21.4 points from the previous school year. The most recent ACT scores at Joplin High School are better than the Missouri average for last year at 21.4 and the national average at 20.8.
