As temperatures start to fall, the need for a flu shot rises. If you are wanting to get your shot early this season, some four state clinics are already offering them. The Jasper County Health Clinic is giving flu and pneumonia shots by appointment to residents that live outside Joplin City limits. The cost for adult flu shots is twelve dollars and pneumonia vaccines cost twenty-two dollars. From eight to eleven a.m. On October 4th, flu shots will be given in the Cox Monett parking lot for medicare patients, Cox Monnett will give shots on October tenth from seven thirty to eleven a.m. in the outpatient clinic.
