The tragic death of a four month old carthage baby is opening the eyes of local parents and medical personell. As we told you last night,24 year old Gary Pinckney of Carthage has been charged with the murder of his four month old son, Michael Pinckeny. Investigators say they believe the cause of the baby`s death may be a result of shaken baby syndrome. Doctors say shaken baby sydrome can lead to brain damage and death in infants and is most common in children under the age of two. Dr. Pyron says Freeman Hospital reports one to two suspected child abuse cases each week. Reported By: Robin Rogers
