Authorities are involved in a standoff after a man barricades himself inside his home. The stand-off between Pittsburg Police and a man who Police believe is armed began just before 10:30 this morning,at a home on the 800 block of south Elm Street. Officers first received a call from a woman who fled from the home to a nearby convenience store. She told authorities she was involved in domestic dispute with a man at the home. Negotiations with the suspect began early this afternoon. The unidentified man has refused numerous requests by police to come out of the home. Police consider the man to be armed and dangerous. They have blocked off and secured the area on Elm Street from Locust to Joplin streets. KSN will have more information as soon as it becomes available. Reported By: Courtney Cullor
