Newton County Stabbing

A rural Joplin man is behind bars, charged in connection with a weekend stabbing. 22-year old Donald Griffin has been charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action. Investigators say Griffin is accused of stabbing a 22-year old man from Tucson, Arizona numerous times. The incident happened early Saturday morning along state line road Southwest of Joplin. Griffin is being held in the Newton County Jail on 500 thousand dollars bond. Reported By: Jim Jackson
