MSSC's Construction Set-Back

Many local college students may be without a home even longer than expected. Officials at Missouri State Southern College in Joplin say it may be until the end of the semester before workers complete a new residence hall on campus. The original completion date was last month, but construction delays have pushed the date back and workers now say the project may not be completed until December. Twenty-seven students are staying at a local motel while workers complete construction on the rooms. The contractor is paying for the motel rooms.
