Pittsburg Standoff Update

A four-state man is facing charges after involving police in a seven hour stand-off. Gerald Dale Hall of Pittsburg, Kansas is facing charges of aggravated assault, criminal threat, criminal restraint, and domestic battery. The charges come in connection with the stand-off with Pittsburg Police at the suspect`s home at 807 South Elm street in Pittsburg. The standoff began yesterday morning after police received a 911 call from a woman saying she was involved in a domestic dispute with hall. She told authorities that hall was inside the home with a 25-caliber semi-automatic hand gun. Hall was taken into custody after opening the front door of his home and collapsing in the yard. He is being held in the Crawford County jail on 12-thousand dollars bond. Reported By: Robin Rogers
