Joplin artist Todd Aaron Smith is a local writer and illustrator. He is the creator of the cow series of children`s books and is creating a new character. His new book will feature Higby the monkey. Smith has 10 books in bookstores and 185 thousand books in circulation across the country. He is also a penciler for Archie comics and even worked on the animated Spider-man series as an illustrator. Smith will be signing his new books for the kids tomorrow at Great Expectations in Joplin from 12pm until 3.
