PSU Student Dies

A former four state football standout is dead following a weekend beating. Zachary Willis of Pittsburg died last night at a Joplin hospital. Police say the incident happened saturday night at the Gorilla X-press in the 24 hundred block of Rouse in Pittsburg. Investigators say Willis was injured during a fight with a current Pittsburg High School student. That student is in the custody of Crawford County Juvenile authorities. Willis was a 2003 graduate of Pittsburg High School. He was a standout running back for Pittsburg High. Reported By:Janae Menz
