Unsolicited Calls

Updated: January 7, 2009
As the election year approaches, political parties nationally are working to raise funds for the high costs involved. But when do some fundraising methods go too far? Donnie Krutsinger says she and her family have been solicited several times by telephone from the office of republican congressman Tom Delay. She says Congressman Delay is fundraising for the Republican party. A message informed them they could receive a national leadership award. The catch though, is they then ask for up to a five hundred dollar donation. But this isn`t the only case. As you may recall, NBC Nightly News reported just this week calls like this are happening all across the nation. Reported By: Ryan Loyd
