Possible Pipe Bomb

Joplin Police are called to investigate a possible pipe bomb in the city. A small metal device was found by construction workers this morning on property at 823 South Jackson in Joplin. The object was found on the ground next to an outbuilding near the home. No one is currently living at the residence. Members of the Missouri bomb squad were called to examine the device. Investigators say the object didn`t contain a fuse. Joplin Police are continuing their investigation. Reported By: Jim Jackson
