Irving Elementary Canned Goods

A local elementary school is rembering it`s the season to give to those less fortunate. The Irving Elementary Student Council is holding a canned food drive again this year. One of the building`s entryways is blocked off with boxes of non-perishable food items. One student council member says he`s pleasantly suprised with the way his classmates have responded this year. Last year Irving Elementary was able to collect 18 hundred canned goods. This year over three thousand cans will be donated to the Salvation Army. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
