Carthage Governmental Changes

A local community is considering a change in city government. The Carthage City Council is considering changing the way city councilmembers are elected. Under a proposal by Mayor Ken Johnson half of the 10 member council would be elected at large. The measure will be considered at tonight`s city council meeting.
