Cherokee County Vehicles Stolen

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible for stealing vehicles in a Southeast Kansas community. Cherokee County Sheriff`s deputies need your help following a string of recent car thefts where the vehicles have been recovered burnt. Two vehiles have been reported stolen in the past two weeks from the Treece Kansas area. The Kansas State Fire Marshall`s office is offering a five thousand dollar reward for finding those responsible for the crimes. If you have any information about the thefts you are asked to contact the Cherokee County Sheriff`s office at 620-429-3992. Reported By: Jim Jackson
