Neosho Bricks

Updated: January 7, 2009
An area town is taking a walk on the wild side to improve its historic downtown square and business district. The city of Neosho is extending its "Bricks and Lights" program that will light up the downtown area even more. The idea is to continue the sidwalk and lighting one more block off each corner of the square, and additionally down to Spring street to Big Spring park and the Chamber of Commerce. City leaders hope the project will make a mini-corridor to the downtown area. They say property values will be improved and future tourism will be increased. It`s a chance for the area to look even better during the special Christmas season as well. Reported By: Ryan Loyd
