The possibility of 500 new jobs comes with the excitment of news that a business is expanding in Joplin. A vacant building will soon take on a new look in the city of Joplin. The old Wal Mart store at West 7th street will soon be bustling with business. Systems and services technologies a subsidiary of jp morgan chase bank is transforming the vacant structure into its new location. The city is offering the company one point six million dollars in tax breaks. Missouri Governor Bob Holden is expected to be in Joplin Friday morning for a news confernce that will announce s.s.t`s acquistion of the building. As many as 500 new jobs could be coming to the city. S.S.T is an auto loan servicing company that has operated in Joplin since the summer of 2001. S.S.T tracks auto loans made by banks and companies and collects the payments for them. S.S.Tt is one of only three companies in the country that provides this service. Reported By: Jim Jackson
