Missouri Governor Bob Holden makes a stop in joplin with news of more jobs. Governor Holden made announced Systems and Services Technology will be moving into the old Seventh street Wal-Mart. SST processes automobile loans and currently employs 170 people at it`s current facility. The company plans to quadruple it`s work force in the next three years and bring 500 new jobs to the area. Four-million dollars will be spent to renovate the old Wal-Mart building. Governor Holden says this announcement will have an impact on surrounding businesses in the area. "These jobs we are brining into Joplin Missouri are well paid jobs and it`s going to have a tremendous influence around 35 million dollars of new revenue into the Joplin area in a yearly basis just in salaries,"said Holden. Governor Holden also announced the Missouri Department of Economic Development will grant 300-thousand dollars in bonds to help with training bonds for the future workers. That training will be administered in Neosho at Crowder College. Reported By: Brad Douglas
