A four-state teenager makes his first appearance in court after an accidental shooting in Jay, Oklahoma turns deadly. Jay, Oklahoma High School Senior 18-year-old Laramy O`Leary allegedly shot another man last night in Jay. Today, he made his first appearance in court. 18-year-old Laramy O`Leary is expected to face second degree murder charges for the shooting death of James Hansen. According to a Jay Police Department probable cause affidavit. The victim`s wife Sarah Hansen says she and her husband were trying to pass the suspect in his vehicle when he sped up and swerved. She says they eventually passed O`Leary and as the Hansen`s reached Jay, O`Leary`s vehicle sped past them. Sarah Hansen says her husband followed O`Leary to the post office where both men exited their vehicles. O`Leary`s Attorney says Hansen is a golden glove boxer who left visible marks on O`Leary during the attack. O`Leary`s attorney says his client pulled out a pistol in self defense when it accidently discharged and shot hansen. O`Leary was released last night from the Deleware County Jail on a 25 thousand dollar bond. O`Leary is scheduled to be in court again at the end of this month. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
