After the recent mad cow disease scare area cattlemen are meeting to talk about the dip in beef prices. More than 250 cattle producers and beef industry officials met in Joplin. They are brainstorming how to increase consumer confidence in american beef. Agriculture professors also took part in the conference. They addressed how ranchers will be affected by country of origin labelling. The discussions will continue tomorrow. Another conference will be held at the tulsa stockyards tomorrow at one-thirty.
