Pillsbury Safety Award

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The General Mills Pillsbury Plant is thrilled to have reached more than seven million work hours or seven years with out a lost time accident. What that means is no one has been injured to the point where they can`t return to work. One of the things workers are doing in celebration is shaving the number seven into their facial hair or the hair on their head. Employee`s say paying attention to each other is what has kept them safe. Workers at Pillsbury say just because they`ve surpassed a company record. They`re not done keeping an eye on each other`s safety. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
