Law enforcement agents in Missouri have a new weapon in their fight against meth, more federal funding. The state of Missouri plans to pump nearly $2.5 million dollars into the Missouri Smart Program. The program helps fund efforts by local law enforcement agencies to stop the manufacturing of meth. The money will help bring personnel, training and equipment to the smart program as well as prevention initiatives. This year 349 meth labs were seized by law enforcement all before August.
