A four state hospital announces its speaker for a Quality In Medicine Award ceremony. This morning the Freeman Foundation along with Freeman Health System announced its selection for a keynote speaker for the quality in medicine awards. This year`s speaker is former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Mayor Giuliani served as New York`s Mayor from 1993 through 2001. Most recently he was named time`s person of the year. Freeman directors say Giuliani was chosen for his strength in times of hardship and his resolve to lead the nation through one of its darkest hours. And they hope his message will be both inspirational and moving. Former Mayor Giuliani will join a distinguished list of other past speakers. Former President George H.W. Bush spoke in 2002, and other past speakers include Colin Powell, Lady Margaret Thatcher, and Surgeon General C. Everett Koop. The Freeman Quality In Medicine Award recognizes an individual, group or organization that has significantly affected the health and lives of four state residents. This year`s ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, November 11th. Reported By: Tiffany Alaniz
