Anti-Violence Meeting

Violent sights and sounds surround our children almost everyday and one local group is trying to put a stop to it. The Girl Scouts Tri-State Antiviolence Youth Coalition meeting was held today in Joplin. The group gathered together to help come up with ideas to create activities and events to help draw attention to anti violence behavior and education. Special presenters from Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Lafayette House, and Family Resource Center attended. For more information about, or to get involved call 623-8277.
