A Joplin city employee is facing felony theft charges. Late Monday Jasper County Prosecutors filed felony theft charges against Rob Clay of Joplin. Clay is the current Executive Director of the Joplin Housing Authority. Clay was the former Executive Director of the Joplin Boys and Girls Club, a position he held for 15 years. The charges stem money which police say was taken from the boys and girls club within the past year. Police say that amount exceeded 25-thousand dollars. Prosecutors say Clay is expected to turn himself into authorities this afternoon. Reported By: Robin Rogers
