MODOT Work Zone

A message from a child is going the extra mile to warn us about driving safely in work zone areas. The message reminds us that employees working on the highways is someone`s Dad, Mom, or Granparent. It`s all a part of the Work Zone Awareness poster contest. The competition is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Transportation. The posters are now on display at Joplin`s Northpark Mall. Last year a MODOT employee died in a work zone accident in Joplin. MODOT employees say the contest is a great way to honor her memory. Reported By: Tiffany Alaniz
