breaking news
Have you ever seen a Harley with bike pedals? Back in 1920 they made them. This bike was just one of several classic bikes inside this Harley Davidson traveling museum. The 18 wheeler, tractor trailer display is parked in the Cycle Connections parking lot for all fans to take a look.
"This is a 1940, you`ll notice its a kick start motor on this one. They have the spring seat with the older handle bars on it,"said Leslie Anderson.
Leslie Anderson works at Cycle Connections in Joplin, and says Harley fans are very passionate about their bikes.
"It`s a dream for them. Riding a motorcycle and driving a Harley is a dream. That`s what our job is about, making everyone`s dream come true."
Some of items on display are age old oil cans, collectible Harley toy motorcycles and helmets. Yes, this leather cap is what bikers wore before the hard metal helmets came out in the 1930s. The display is open until 7pm tonight at Cycle Connections in Joplin.
