Missouri Gets Money for Passing Legislation

Four-State officials are rewarding for passing tougher legislation in fighting drunk driving. Governor Holden announced today that Missouri will receive nearly $3 million dollars for passing legislation lowering the state`s illegal drunk driving limit. The level was lowered to 0.08% blood alcohol level back in June. The new law will officially take effect this Saturday. The $3 dollar grant will be used for highway construction and safety projects. Missouri joins 26 other states who have enacted the drunk driving legislation.
