Attempted Murder Suspect

Authorities in Crawford County, Kansas remain on high alert tonight for a suspect they say fled after attempting murder. Sheriff`s Deputies say Donald Burrous violated a protective order early Saturday morning and then tried to kill his wife at their home east of Girard. Deputies say they believe Burrous fired several shots at the woman before she ran to a neighbors house to call police. Reports say the couple is in the process of a divorce. Burrous was last seen driving a silver 1998 Dodge extended cab truck. Authorities say he is considered armed and dangerous.
